With the 2002 defense budget at around 331 billion dollars, this survey asks about allocation of funds, how to pay for increased spending, and spending to protect other countries. Foreign policy questions ask about the United States' dominant position and cooperation with other countries. The data was collected online from July 19th - 30th, 2002 of 1,369 panel poll respondents, and conducted by Knowledge Networks.
